Course Territories

Done this before, either in this clan or amother, I think..
Anyway, this is just an idea and I think it would be a fun thing to do. This will also be good for helping us get better at certain courses to start with, and gradually become better at all courses depending on how much you want to challenge, this would be good for course practice.

What would happen is we split the 32 courses evenly among the clan (say we have 10 members each member would get 3 courses plus 2 extras) we each would pick three courses we want to own first. so each would own 3. At any time, members can challenge one another to take their territory, depending how many want to compete for the course at that time, it can be simple 1v1's with the challenger and defender, or if others are looking to take that same course, even more could participate. The challenges would most likely be 1 or 2 GP's and the person with the most points takes the territorry as theirs. Your goal of course is to own as many terrotories as you can, now this could go on forever, and thats why its good ;). I think it would be good practice.

Looks complicated at first, but its really not, just a simple clan practice idea, except being a little competitive, but hopefully we could keep it fun and not get too competitive with eachother.

Ok so since most are interested I will take it that we are doing it. Its First Post First Serve, so whoever posts their 2 territories early will most likely get them, but remember you can always challenge some1 for it. There will be NO limit to how many an individual can own at once, I highly doubt one person will TAKE AND KEEP all territories, we dont have any Tanney's in this clan unfortunatly . Anyway, so post what courses u want to have right away, and remember each player will start with owning TWO TERRITORIES TO START, because we do have soemthing like 15 racers here, but we'll see. I will put the list up now and people can start claiming their territories. I guess I will start claiming mine, Bowser's Castle (BIG SURPRISE) and Ranbow Road . AS WELL, since items make it deifferent in certain ways, between the people competing, you guys decide wether you want the challenge to be with items or without items, Im sure we can all trust eachother to play fair. if u guys cant agree on the same thing, previous owner choses.

Tiebreakers: if it is tied through 1or2 GP's. 1 tiebreaker race is played. Winner wins

Items or no-items: challenger and defender must agree on item on no item challenges

Glitch or non glitch: challenger and defender must agree on glitch or no glitch runs

Challenge limit: You can be challenged a max of 3 times a day, but you can still challenge others, but YOU can only BE challenged 3 times a day, this is to avoid many asking for challenges at one time.

TC's in No-item challenges: Common Coutesy, wait for the other player, unless they are too far back, in that case, not much can be done..

I think we could get 8 people to participate so everyone starts w/ 4 courses. Adding on to your idea mikey, I say we have it so you could only challenge people once a day and can only be challenged once a day.

FIRST POST WAS EDITED, everyone can start posting their tracks tomorrow morning when I say so, make sure u get here bright and early :flower:. When I make the post, saying u can vote, will be able to, anyone who posts before that will be ignored :]. Ok people can start voting now, it doesnt really matter who owns what at first, u can challenge anyone anytime. And depending on how many people actually participating, even more courses can be taken by each person. VOTE NOW PEEPS

Rules and Courses updated, thats all for tonight, I will take more requests tomorrow, and people may start challenging one another tomorrow as well, for the next 2 days I will very innactive during the day, so make sure u PM or VM me or w/e somehow contact me to let me know any new course updated ( I think on this SV forum we all have visitor message walls, so that would be best). Somehow let me know incase Im not around.
